ECO-UNESCO's Environmental-Education

By the end of the training participants should:
• Understand what environmental education is
• Know how environmental education compliments teaching as well as engaging the wider public in environmental issues
• Understand how environmental education compliments youth work
• Be able to apply environmental education in theory and in practice
This training is suited for environmental officers, teachers, youth and community leaders, academics and anyone else interested in learning more about environmental education.

Green Party Summer Internships 2010

Summer internship in Senator Mark Deary's office for approximately 6 weeks over the summer starting from mid July. Internships are for 1 or 2 days per week. The position includes administration and research duties. Applications to rachel@louthgreenparty.org including a short cover letter and CV.

Ireland for Europe will be holding a pub quiz on Thursday 15th July at The Duke pub (located on Duke St, off Grafton St).
Date: Thursday, 15th July
Venue: The Duke
Time: 7.30 pm
Price: €10 a head
Food and drink can be served to you before, during or after the quiz. In addition to some fabulous prizes for the winning teams, there will be a raffle and spot prizes during the evening.
