Congrats to the new Young Greens National Committee
Over here at younggreens.ie we've all finally recovered from the Young Greens convention which was held in picturesque Blessington Co. Wicklow. Many thanks to all those that came along and made the weekend great.
Congrations are in order for the new National Committee of the Young Greens who'll be looking to continue the great work of the Young Greens, campaigning and lobbying on the issues that matter to us.
National Committee 2009-10
Daithí Ó Cearbhaill, originally from Monaghan Town and now studying History in Trinity College Dublin was elected chair.

Rian Coulter from Killkenny town was elected Secretary, and will be looking after correspondence from the public etc. secretary [at]younggreens.ie
Tom Sheppard from Dublin is his final year of UCD History and Politics, having returned from a year abroad in Sweden, the country we all wish everywhere was. He'll be looking after the Young Greens policies.
Mark McCormick from Belfast studying in Queens was elected campaigns coordinator, our first member of a national executive from the North. Congrats Mark!
Barra Roantree, (Wicklow, TCD) outgoing chair will stay on as press officer/communications officer publicising the hard work the others do.
Martha Dalton (Waterford now Trinity College Dublin studying History) has taken on the daunting but rewarding job of expansions, and will be working on building branches where we have none. If you've an interest in getting involved but there's no branch near you, Martha can be contacted at expansions[at]younggreens.ie
Zoe Coleman (Sligo, UCD) will be continuing on in her role as International Officer, looking after the global dimension of the Young Greens
