Keep College Green Bus Gate Open
Dublin City Council are coming under pressure from the car park owners in Dublin to close College Green bus gate. This is despite the fact that the bus gate has given us a cleaner, less congested Dublin.
- Peak time journeys from Parnell Square to Nassau Street reduced from 40 minutes to just 10.
- 64% increase in cyclists.
- Average speed of traffic increased from 5km/hr to 13km/hr
What can I do?
The "Keep Our Bus Gate" campaign are holding a rally to show support for the bus gate this Tuesday outside Bank of Ireland Westmoreland Street Entrance.
- Join the facebook group and invite your friends (press on the logo)!
- Email and phone all or any Dublin City Councillors and tell them that you support the bus gate. Email and phone addresses can be found here
